Great location but outdated rooms

We spent a night here and the location was awesome! Right by the beach and easy walk to pier. But honestly, the room felt kinda old and not what we expected for the price. Staff was friendly and we enjoyed some quick bites from the snack bar, though. Overall, I think you can find something better for your buck.

No curtains to block out light!!! Dirty linens left in the room!!! The TV sound functioned poorly, causing frustration throughout the stay!!! More effort in maintenance would greatly enhance guests' experiences!!!

my stay at howard johnson was wonderful! the room was beautiful, clean, and had a comfy bed. it was just a short 7-minute walk to the beach, which was fantastic. the staff were super nice and even helped me get a room when i wasn't feeling well. truly appreciated their kindness!

This place is a gem! The ocean view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, with waves crashing just a short stroll away. I enjoyed comfy beds and a clean space, which made our stay so pleasant. Plus, being only minutes from the boardwalk was a total win for our family!

Great location near the beach.

My recent stay was quite disappointing. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the bathroom shower was problematic, flooding the floor every time I used it. To top it off, the breakfast situation was lackluster — just coffee and juice with no food options.
